2015 Alphians vs Hawks

Alphians HBA1 and Hawks AH1 volleyed the lead seven times on Saturday, but Alphians HBA1 came out on top for a 5-4 win on Saturday at Alphen.

Jelle Van Rijn led Alphians HBA1’s offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The top of the first saw Hawks AH1 take an early lead, 2-0. A triple by PlayerB, bringing home PlayerA started the inning off. Hawks AH1 pushed more runs across when PlayerB scored on a sacrifice fly by PlayerC.

Alphians HBA1 pushed one run across in each of the fourth, sixth and seventh. In the fourth, Alphians HBA1 scored on a solo home run by Johan Blaaupot.

Hawks AH1 tied the game in the fifth on a steal of home.

Alphians HBA1 scored one run of its own in the seventh. Alphians HBA1 scored on an RBI double by Robin Bakker.
